Our Mission

Our Mission: To pray for, encourage and come alongside God’s servants in Rome in order to reach Rome with the love of Christ by Declaring the gospel, Discipling people and the Demonstrating God’s love

Our Destination: Tor Bella Monaca zone of Rome, Italy

Our Purpose: To Declare the gospel, To Disciple people, and to Demonstrate God’s love

  1. Declaration of the gospel through friendship evangelism and local outreach programs in Tor Bella Monaca such as English lessons, concerts, free basketball camps and other events
  • Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
  • Isaiah 61:4 “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.”
  • Paul labored to build on the foundation of salvation by grace through faith. For the most part, this message is buried so deeply under the rubble of politics and religiosity, that it’s barely distinguishable any more.
  • Nehemiah 4:2Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble?”
  1. Discipleship of people through children’s ministry, leadership development, parenting and marriage mentoring as well as encouraging and building up our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ at CC Rome.
  • Hebrews 10:25 “let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
  • Nehemiah 4:10 “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.”
  • Nehemiah 6:9 “They were all trying to frighten us, thinking, ‘Their hands will get too weak for the work, and it will not be completed.’ But I prayed, ‘Now strengthen my hands.’”
  1. Demonstration of God’s love through short-term trips to come along side CC Rome
  • 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

  • John 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest?’ Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”

Our God is a missionary God and He has invited us to join Him in His Mission in Italy!
